Posted in TOURISM OBJECTS on May 10th, 2010Mount Rinjani is a beautiful mountain in Indonesia, particularly in the city of Lombok NTB. Mount Rinjani with 3.726 m altitude above sea level is the second highest volcano in Indonesia and also part of a series of “Circle of fire.”
For the people of the island of Lombok, Sasak and Interest rates, especially Bali, Gunung Rinjani is considered a sacred place which is the palace of the Gods. Segara Anak crater lake is a crater formed by a natural result of the eruption of Mount Rinjani, other than that this crater is a pilgrimage destination for many people every year. At these shrines, offerings laid on the water and usually the pilgrims bathing in hot spring pools which are believed to cure various skin diseases. For the visitors, Rinjani mountain climbing lane for three days starting from the crater lip Senaru headed straight down towards the crater lake, then to Sembalun Lawang. This point has been recognized as one of the best climbing point of Southeast Asian region.
